Wax is Dead® Slide Clay lube is a slippery, highly lubricating spray-on solution that aids the effectiveness of clay baring. Slide lubrication properties reduce friction which helps the clay bar pull stubborn dirt and debris from the paintworks micropores to restore a glossy finish ready for a ceramic coating or wax application. Soapy water is often used as a lubricant for the clay bar process. However, these harsh chemicals often degrade and harden the clay material, creating more friction and more chance of marring. Slide has been formulated to extend the life of your clay bar by using slick lubricants and synthetic wetting agents that provide an ultra-slick, low-friction solution.
How to Use
- Ensure the vehicle has been washed thoroughly
- Apply Slide liberally to a small section at a time, approx 32x32cm
- Slide your clay bar across the paintwork in back & forward motions, keeping the area well dosed with lube.
- Repeat as necessary until your clay no longer picks up any contamination.
